Problem Note 45618: Score code generated from Optimized Score code is incorrect when nominal variables have many levels
In SAS® Enterprise Miner™, the score code might be incorrect if the Optimized Score code was generated. The problem occurs when all of the following conditions are true:
- a nominal input variable is significant in the final model
- the variable has many unique levels
- the levels are grouped together by either the Interactive Binning or the Interactive Grouping
node
The generated Optimized Score code that contains these bins is incorrect. (The non-optimized score code is generated correctly.)
There are no errors or warnings to indicate that the score code is incorrect.
To avoid the problem, set the Optimized Code property to No.
